Mothers need support from the people and organizations they interact with to meet their breastfeeding goals. States can use this Report Card and previous year's Report Cards to track progress, identify the areas where mothers need more support, and work within their communities to better protect, promote and support breastfeeding mothers.

NH Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding Online Curriculum
15 hour Online Breastfeeding Curriculum* available to meet Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative Requirements. Low cost hospital and individual subscriptions available. This course provides the required 15 hour didactic component of the 20 hour World Health Organization/UNICEF Breastfeeding Promotion and Support in a Baby-Friendly Hospital course. The 5 hour clinical competency course with nursing contact hours is also available. (see below)

Five Hour Skills Days Sessions for Hospital Staff Nurses
Meets requirements set forth by Baby-Friendly USA for designation or re-designation as a Baby-Friendly designated hospital.

Bella Breastfeeding - Provider Training is a peer-reviewed online course on OPENPediatrics, a free web-based learning platform designed for health care professionals. The purpose of this course is to fulfill the 3 hr requirement for provider education (Physicians, CNM, PA, APRN) as outlined in the Baby-Friendly USA Guideline and Evaluation Criteria manual.
